Energize Green Business

Adbrevio is your expert for renewable energy and biobased business. Since 2001, we are focussing on subjects such as solar energy, biogas, biodiesel, ethanol, pyrolyses, biomass boilers and other renewable energy sources.
In 2007, we initiated Holland Biomass 4 Energy Solutions. We are collaborating with several companies for the manufacturing of (turn-key) biomass conversion units on a farm scale and larger. We are involved in the realisation of biodiesel plants, ethanol production plants, biogas plants, pyrolyses plants, biomass boilers and combinations of these and other energy technologies.
In addition, we draw expertise from a wide network of experts, providing up to date knowledge, including biomass production (e.g. rape seed, corn, wood, algae), biobased chemistry and waste reduction. We help you with your project, from feasibility study to exploitation.
Together, we are your experts for the production, processing and quality control of biomass.

Biomass costs lower than fossil energy, International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) says

Biomass costs would be lower than those of most fossil energy sources in most countries of the world. A recent IRENA report reveals how technologies are reaching grid parity. The cost-competitiveness of renewable power generation technologies has reached historic levels. Biomass for power, hydropower, geothermal and onshore wind can all…
Introduction of bio-based polyTHF

Chemical giant BASF has begun commercial production of polytetrahydrofuran (polyTHF) derived entirely from biomass feedstocks. The process hinges on a microbial fermentation of sugars to produce 1,4-butanediol (BDO), which is then purified and polymerised. Genetically engineered bacteria BASF has licensed the BDO fermentation process from biotech specialist Genomatica, which genetically…
